Welcome to Fareham Academy, a thriving 11-16 mixed academy at the heart of our community. We are dedicated to fostering both academic achievement and personal development, guided by our core values of Resilience, Aspiration, and Kindness.

Our motto, "Unlocking Potential, Creating Opportunity", reflects our ambition for every student. We pride ourselves on being a 'Good' Academy with "Outstanding" features, committed to inclusive learning that meets the diverse needs of our students. Restart a Heart Day

In honour of Restart a Heart Day, a global initiative aimed at educating people on how to deliver CPR, we were pleased to welcome the South Central Ambulance Service to Fareham Academy today. Our Year 8 students took part in a hands-on workshop, learning vital skills such as how to respond in an emergency, administer CPR, use a defibrillator, and place someone in the recovery position. Black History Month

This October, the Academy has come together to honour and celebrate Black History Month through creativity, learning, and reflection. These included: 🥁 African Dance & Drum Workshop – Year 7 students experienced the vibrant rhythms of the Zamble dance in an interactive workshop that connected music, singing, geography, and dance. 🌍 Whole-School Assembly – We explored the theme of the year: Standing Firm in Power and Pride, inspiring students to embrace resilience and unity.

Year 11 Southampton International Boat Show Visit

In September, some of our Year 11 students had the opportunity to explore the Southampton International Boat Show! As part of their coastal project, they gathered valuable primary research and spoke directly with employers and manufacturers. The trip also served as a careers-focused experience, giving students insight into the wide range of opportunities in the maritime industry, ranging from engineering and design to logistics and sustainability.
